WHO IS MR. MIKE MULLEN?

I have lived in California most of my life.  I started my education here in the Sacramento City Unified School District at Joseph Bonnheim Elementary School.  I graduated from Elk Grove High School back in 1982 – GO HERD!  Following high school, I was a missionary for my church in Thailand for two years.  I later returned to live there as a civilian and taught English and American culture in the refugee camps.  It was then that I decided to change my major from business finance to elementary education.  Thank goodness I did.  I can’t see myself doing anything else.  I earned my degree in Liberal Studies from Sacramento State back in 1994.  I started teaching immediately at Maple Elementary School.  After 2 years, I was offered a job here at Matsuyama and have been here ever since. (1996!) I have a wonderful wife and 2 daughters.  We love camping and vacationing whenever we get the chance.  I love to golf – don’t get to do it often enough.  I love to eat out with my wife – don’t get to do that often enough either!
